10 Reasons I DON'T Want To Be Kate Middleton Tomorrow
Unless you have been captured by pirates just off the coast of Somalia, you know the big royal wedding will take place tomorrow. Like all girls, I grew up wanting to be a princess and even had a crush on William as a young girl. However, this true life fairy tale wedding really made me re-think my fantasies about doing so.
Being royal is just a royal pain.
10. She has to wear hats constantly in public

I love hats as much as the next gal, but making the accessory mandatory? Royal etiquette requires all royal female family members wear hats while in public...Which will be like, all the time for the poor girl. It's not like she can wear cute caps either. They always seem to be those crazy over-the-top bonnets that are only appropriate for like easter or a day at the races.
9. Her wedding date was chosen for her
April 29th falls right in the middle of major holidays and events in England. Easter and Lent have just passed, and the busy political time in May is just beginning. It's a political move to have the wedding on this date. Way to suck all the romance out of it, people.

Kate is getting married in Westminster Abbey, and the rule is that all ladies must wear sleeves while in the location. I'm sure Kate will look lovely on her wedding day, however, being constricted to one style really, really, sucks.
7. Call her Catherine. No really, you have to.

She will no longer be refereed to as Kate. It's Catherine from here on out. Maybe it's not a huge deal, but I enjoy my nick names and if my friends were told to no longer call me those things, I'd be bummed.
6. Royal etiquette classes
From sitting and standin to meet and greets and table manners, Kate is going back to school to re-learn how to be a polite member of society. Basically, she's being taught to be a royal robot. 5. She can't drive or vote Kate will receive an Audi on her wedding day as it's the official royal car brand of choice. Pretty rad, too bad she'll never drive it herself. She'll have a driver from here on out, which is rad, but personally, I'd be sad to give up my love of driving. It's a freedom that I really enjoy. Voting is another freedom I enjoy, but when Kate marries, she'll have to give that up. She may be becoming one of the most powerful people in the world, but she'll never have the chance to actually change anything.

4. No more ladies nights or board games
This may be obvious, but Kate can no longer go to clubs, or do anything that may be controversial. Not that the girl has to get wasted, but I'm sure she'd love the chance to get loose and dance with her girls from time to time. Also, the board game Monopoly is banned in the royal family. Y U NO LIKE OLD TINY THIMBLE AND SCOTTIE DOG, Queen Elizabeth? 3. She's NOT a princess Since she's a "commoner", Kate has no royal title. It's been 350 years since a "commoner" has married into the Royal family. Kate's title will come from the title, if any, that William will get. By the way, does anyone else find her being constantly labeled and referred to as "a commoner" rather demeaning? 2. The Lifetime movie about William and Kate

I wish this fate upon no one. The made for TV movie was all about over-acting, and most of the plot was filled with inaccuracies on the romance of William and Kate.
1. The constant comparisons to Diana

The People's Princess. Diana lived a life full of grace and extremely charitable acts. Kate is a different person, we all realize this. However, you know the world will be watching to see if she can fill her late mother-in-law's shoes.
Please understand I am over the moon happy for this couple, and any couple who decides to take the next step in their relationship. I know Kate will be happy, but i'm just happy it wasn't me.
What's your reasons for not wanting to be Kate tomorrow?
